Due to there being a large community of rat owners both in the city of Portsmouth and the surrounding areas, either myself or someone nearby will hold a get-together every few months. These events are a brilliant way to meet like-minded people, exchange ideas and views, and of course show off your rats! All we ask is that you observe the same protocol that you would when attending shows - namely, do not bring ill or recently ill rats, or any that may have been exposed to infection.
The first meet held here was in February 2007 with attendance totalling 20 people and 31 rats!
A wonderful time was had by all despite the typical British weather. We had another on 4th August 2007 to celebrate my birthday -
can't think of a better way to have spent it!
